The work for decreasing urban construction using land and increasing rural agricultural using land has been carried out actively in Mengyin county.The work has eased the pressure of construction using land, and played an active role in improving rural living environment, promoting ideological liberation of the masses, increasing the collective income, and promoting relationship between the cadres and the masses. However, there are still several problems, such as the difficulty of project site selection, single channel of financing, difficulty of the mass ideological work, and increasing troubles of demolition. In order to innovate work ideas, key means have been put forward to solve the problems in this work in Mengyin county. It will provide some references for carrying out this work in other areas.
