Abstract:Persulfate is widely used in the remediation of organic contaminated soil as a good oxidant, but the corrosive effects of residual persulfate and by-products from oxidation reaction on building concrete and steel structures are often ignored. Through the analysis and detection of soil related indexes before and after remediation of a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon soil contaminated plot, the influence of the contaminated soil on the corrosivity of building materials after remediation with sodium persulfate system has been analyzed. It is showed that the corrosion of the repaired soil to concrete and steel structures has increased.
